An awful lot of time is spent trying to figure out how the Internet works and how it will change out lives in the future, but sometimes we forget just how far this revolutionary technology has taken us already. Hence, than, we could boldly say that Internet has made a practical impact on us in the past few years. And there is no going back.

1. Everybody can get information if they learn how to look for it…

In pre-Internet days, finding the answer would have involved lifting up reference books, scanning a news paper or even a making a trip to library- all with no guarantee of finding that factual nugget. But now Google, the Internet search engine can deliver even the most obscure bits of information to your laptop or desktop within a matter of seconds.

2. Everyone can get NEWS updates…

You can have daily news papers online. When a news story of your choice pops up you are delighted.

3. Everyone can be an expert…

If you are halfway competent at using the net as a research tool, you may be in a great position to get more information pertaining to your topics.

4. Music…

The ability to grab the tunes you want, then sort, store and play them in the manner you want will probably spell the end of CDs and tapes. Young minds can relax and be energized.

5. No-one is anonymous any more…

Try a search on Orkut and make account of your own and keep in constant touch with the friends and rest of the world.

To conclude the world can be a better place to live in with the upright use of Internet. Young minds can be molded and guided. Youth is always available on Internet. Through this article I invite young people to have a responsible use of Internet and build the informative dams.
